Classroom Instruction & Clinical Externship
Program Overview
Our Phlebotomy Technician Program prepares students to become skilled, competent, and confident members of the clinical laboratory team. This comprehensive program combines classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory practice, and a supervised clinical internship to ensure graduates are ready to enter the workforce as professional phlebotomy technicians.
Phlebotomy technicians play a critical role in patient care by collecting blood specimens safely, accurately, and professionally while maintaining patient comfort, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for a National Phlebotomy Certification Exam.
Eligibility Requirements
To enroll in the Phlebotomy Technician Program, applicants must:

Program Description
Phlebotomy Technicians are responsible for collecting blood specimens through venipuncture and capillary collection for laboratory testing. Students are trained to follow strict safety, infection control, and quality standards while interacting professionally with patients across diverse healthcare settings.
